DESCRIPTION

The CAVEABLOCK 500 Semiautomatic Monoblock is intended for small bottling companies that need productions up to 500 bottles/hour*. (*the actual production of a semiautomatic machine strongly depends on the skill of the operator using it).
The machine consists of a single base equipped with two turrets; one for the corking and one for the wire-hooding with bottle holding cups adjustable in height, which allows processing bottles of various formats.

This monoblock offers a versatile solution for those who must cork with the same machine bottles containing both still wines and fermented or sparkling drinks, such as sparkling wine, champagne, prosecco, beer, cider, and kombucha. In fact, the corker can be used for both champagne corks and wine corks without any structural change of the corking head.

The corker is equipped with a tube for the manual supply containing about 10 corks*; as an alternative, it is possible to equip the corking turret with a mini revolver loader with 10 tubes with a capacity of 100-120 corks* (*depending on the height of the corks used).

The wire-hooder can apply 4-post wire-hoods with or without cap. The wire-hoods are supplied manually to the wire-hooding head. After this working cycle, the bottle is wire-hooded yet without the bending of the eyelet, operation to be performed manually.

All components of our machines are designed to be easily accessible and inspectable to facilitate their cleaning and maintenance thus ensuring a long life.

Like all OMBF machines, this model is entirely manufactured of stainless steel, food quality plastic materials, and steel alloys, in compliance with the regulations in force concerning the “Materials and Articles in contact with Food”, MOCA: EC 1935/2004 Regulation.

The machine conforms to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

OMBF, a mechanical engineering company operating in the oenological sector, has always focused on offering customized machinery. To do so we equip our standard machines with suitable accessories or even examine with the customer the feasibility of expressly designed machines able to meet the specific requirements of any production line of the beverage and wine sector.

The teams of OMBF technical and trade departments are available to offer the customer an effective solution.
