DESCRIPTION
The METHOD 900 Automatic Triblock is intended for small and medium-sized bottling companies that need productions up to 900 bottles/hour for the mixing of the liqueur d’expédition and up to 1,500 bottles/hour for both the corking and wire-hooding.
The machine consists of a single base equipped with three turrets, one for the corking, one for the wire-hooding, and one for the mixing of the liqueur d’expédition. All turrets are adjustable in height, which allows processing various bottle formats.
This Triblock is designed for fermented or sparkling drinks like sparkling wine, champagne, prosecco, beer, cider, and kombucha, yet it is a versatile solution for those who must cork soft drinks and still wines with the same machine; it is possible to use both champagne and wine corks without any structural modification of the corking head. For the use with the wine corks, you will simply need to in install the suitable kit and deactivate the wire-hooding turret to have only the corking turret working.
The corks can be supplied through an automatic orienting unit/feeder in the case of unidirectional and bidirectional corks or through a mechanical hopper in the case of exclusive use of bidirectional corks.
The automatic wire-hooding machine applies 4-post wire-hoods with or without cap and is equipped with revolver magazine with tubes with a capacity of 1,000 pieces. As an alternative, the machine can be equipped with a revolver wire-hood magazine containing 2,000 pieces.
The mixer, designed for the final stage of the Classic Method champagne and sparkling wine production is equipped with a tilting drum with 2 seats hosting the bottles. While rotating on its axis the drum overturns repeatedly the bottles so mixing its content. The mixing turret can be equipped with bypass rails for the direct passage of the bottles. This optional device diverts the bottles from the conveyor belt to exclude the mixer from the bottling line.
All components of our machines are designed to be easily accessible and inspectable to facilitate their cleaning and maintenance thus ensuring a long life.
Like all OMBF machines, this model is entirely manufactured of stainless steel, food quality plastic materials, and steel alloys, in compliance with the regulations in force concerning the “Materials and Articles in contact with Food”, MOCA: EC 1935/2004 Regulation.
The machine conforms to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
OMBF, a mechanical engineering company operating in the oenological sector, has always focused on offering customized machinery. To do so we equip our standard machines with suitable accessories or even examine with the customer the feasibility of expressly designed machines able to meet the specific requirements of any production line of the beverage and wine sector.
The teams of OMBF technical and trade departments are available to offer the customer an effective solution.
