DESCRIPTION
The METHOD 1700 Automatic Triblock is designed for small and medium-sized bottling companies that need production capacities up to 1,500 – 1,700 bottles/hour.
The machine consists of a single chassis bearing three turrets: one for the corking, one for the application and closure of wire-hoods, and one for the mixing of the “a liqueur d’expédition”. All turrets are adjustable in height, which allows processing various bottle formats.
This Triblock is designed for fermented or sparkling carbonated drinks such as sparkling wine, champagne prosecco, cider, beer, and kombucha; yet, thanks to its versatility, it can be used also for the bottling of soft drinks and still wines with both wine and champagne corks without any structural modification to the closing head. When the triblock is used with wine corks, you will need just to install the suitable kit and deactivate the wire-hooding machine and the mixer to make only the corking turret work.
The corks can be supplied through an orienting unit/automatic feeder for both unidirectional and bidirectional corks or through a mechanical hopper in case of exclusive use of bidirectional corks.
The automatic wire-hooding machine is designed for the application of 4-post wire-hoods with or without cap and is equipped with revolver magazine with 16 tubes with a capacity of 2,000 pieces.
The mixer, designed for the final stage of the Classic Method champagne and sparkling wine production is equipped with a tilting drum with 3 seats hosting the bottles. While rotating on its axis the drum overturns repeatedly the bottles so mixing its content. The mixing turret can be equipped with bypass rails for the direct passage of the bottles. This optional device diverts the bottles from the conveyor belt to exclude the mixer from the bottling line.
All components of our machines are designed to be easily accessible and inspectable to facilitate their cleaning and maintenance thus ensuring a long life.
Like all OMBF machines, this model is entirely manufactured of stainless steel, food quality plastic materials, and steel alloys, in compliance with the regulations in force concerning the “Materials and Articles in contact with Food”, MOCA: EC 1935/2004 Regulation.
The machine conforms to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
OMBF, a mechanical engineering company operating in the oenological sector, has always focused on offering customized machinery. To do so we equip our standard machines with suitable accessories or even examine with the customer the feasibility of expressly designed machines able to meet the specific requirements of any production line of the beverage and wine sector.
The teams of OMBF technical and trade departments are available to offer the customer an effective solution.
