DESCRIPTION
The CAVEABLOCK 2800, now the top-of-the-range machine of the CAVEABLOCK series, is intended for bottling companies that need medium/high production volumes up to 2,800 bottles/hour.
The machine consists of a single base equipped with two turrets, one for the corking and one for the wire-hooding. Both turrets are adjustable in height, which allows processing several formats of bottles.
This monoblock offers a versatile solution for those who must cork both still wines and fermented or sparkling drinks, including sparkling wines, champagne, prosecco, beer, cider, and kombucha. In fact, it is possible to use both champagne corks and wine corks without any structural modification of the corking head. The use of the wine cork requires only to install the specific kit and to deactivate the wire-hooding turret to have exclusively the corking turret working.
As to the cork supply, the customer can choose between an orienting unit/automatic feeder for unidirectional and bidirectional corks and a mechanical hopper in case of exclusive use of bidirectional corks.
The wire-hooder can apply 4-post wire-hoods with or without cap and is equipped with a revolver 9-tube magazine with a capacity of 2,000 pieces or a bottom load vertical magazine containing 2,500 pieces.
All components of our machines are designed to be easily accessible and inspectable to facilitate their cleaning and maintenance thus ensuring a long life.
Like all OMBF machines, this model is entirely manufactured of stainless steel, food quality plastic materials, and steel alloys, in compliance with the regulations in force concerning the “Materials and Articles in contact with Food”, MOCA: EC 1935/2004 Regulation.
The machine conforms to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
OMBF, a mechanical engineering company operating in the oenological sector, has always focused on offering customized machinery. To do so we equip our standard machines with suitable accessories or even examine with the customer the feasibility of expressly designed machines able to meet the specific requirements of any production line of the beverage and wine sector.
The teams of OMBF technical and trade departments are available to offer the customer an effective solution.
