DESCRIPTION
The AGITO 500 automatic mixer is designed to meet the needs of small winemaking and bottling companies requiring outputs up to 500 bottles/hour.
OMBF has been the first company in Italy to design and manufacture these mixers; therefore, the company can boast top-level know-how in this kind of process.
The machine consists of a chassis bearing an overturning drum with one seat for the bottle that is overturned repeatedly for its content to be well mixed.
This automatic mixer has been designed for the final stage of the Traditional Method/Méthode Champenoise winemaking process; yet it can be used successfully also in other sectors (soft drinks, dairy, etc.). Its technology can be effective in a variety of processes that require to mix two liquid substances of different density (e.g. a liquid and a sugar syrup), to dissolve soluble substances just introduced into the liquid, or to stir substances in suspension that tend to deposit.
The format change in case of different bottle sizes can be carried out very simply by inserting or removing suitable spacers in the tunnel-shaped bottle seat of the overturning drum.
AGITO 500 can be disabled and by-passed for the free passage of the bottles on the conveyor belt, totally excluding the mixer from the bottling line.
All components of our machines are designed to be easily accessible and inspectable to facilitate their cleaning and maintenance thus ensuring a long life.
Like all OMBF machines, this model is manufactured entirely of stainless steel, food graded plastic material, and steel alloys, in compliance with the regulations in force.
The machine conforms to Machinery Directive 2006/42 CE
OMBF, a mechanical engineering company operating in the oenological sector, has always focused on offering customized machinery. To do so we equip our standard machines with suitable accessories or even examine with the customer the feasibility of expressly designed machines able to meet the specific requirements of any production line of the beverage and wine sector.
The teams of OMBF technical and trade departments are available to offer the customer an effective solution.
